Simple Remedies To Get Rid Of Blackheads
Common and annoying blackheads occur when pores become clogged with excess sebum and dead skin cells. Wouldn’t it be great if you never had to deal with one again? Well since they seem to find their way into our day to day lives I have found some at home remedies to zap them away!
Bentonite Clay
Bentonite clay is a wonderful mineral rich healing
substance that has been used for centuries to treat mainly skin related
issues. Due to its electrical charge when wet, it draws out impurities
and oils locked in your pores. The clay also improves circulation, which
helps with the overall tone of your skin. Use 1 tablespoon of bentonite
clay and enough water to form a paste. Smear the paste onto your face
and let it sit for about 10-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
Egg Whites
Egg whites can temporarily tighten pores, which will
reduce the risk of future blackheads and will also remove current
blackheads. Egg whites are also very moisturizing unlike some blackhead
remedies. Simply apply the egg whites to your skin and let dry. Once
your skin is dry rinse off the egg white and your face should feel
tight!
Cinnamon and Honey
Cinnamon helps improve circulation, which will give your
skin a healthy glow. While the honey has anti-bacterial agents that help
kill bacteria that cause blackheads and acne in general. Simply mix one
part cinnamon with one part honey and apply a thin layer over any
blackheads. Let the mixture sit for 3-5 minutes and then rinse.
Water
Water is a wonderful treatment for blackheads. You can
only use facemasks a few times a week in order to keep your skin from
drying out. Rinsing your face with water 1-2 times a day helps remove
dirt or dried skin from causing acne.
Sweating
Sweating can minimize blackheads. Sweat naturally flows
over and softens anything that might be clogging your pores. However
make sure to rinse your skin after sweating a lot, because sweat can
carry stuff and then dry in your pores, which can cause acne.
Baking Soda and Water
Baking soda acts as an exfoliate that removes dead skin
cells and makes your skin soft and smooth. It also helps to neutralize
your skin pH, which will lessen the amount of oil your skin produces.
Mix about 1 tablespoon with one cup of water and rub mixture all over
your face. It will be runny like water but your skin should feel a bit
dryer after words. Once you’ve rinsed your face put some jojoba oil or
coconut oil on your skin to moisturize.
