Facebook now supports payment services via chatbots

Facebook's Messenger application, which now boasts a billion users, is introducing new capabilities that will make it possible to pay for goods and services through Messenger or though "bots," or automated programs, that use the messaging app. This is a free feature.

Firefox "Private Window" runs its own version of adblock. You will receive an adblock detection screen on private window, even if you are not running any adblock plugins. In this case, you will need to open indiatoday.in on your standard Firefox window.

David Marcus, VP of messaging products at Facebook, said at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference that the company was working with a number of payment providers including PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Stripe to implement the features.
Facebook said that it was adding the feature to give a more convenient and secure way to send or receive money. The company confirmed that the money you send would be transferred immediately.  However, it may take one to three business days to make the money available to the receiver depending on the bank, similar to the other deposits.
To send money: Open the message with the friend who you want to send the money > Tap the $ icon > Enter the amount you want to send > Tap Pay in the top right > Add your debit card to send money

To receive money first open the conversation from your friend who is sending the money > Tap Add Card in the message > Add your debit card to accept money for the first time
